Dugaggùmir Se (/ˈdugag/ /ˈgʊmir/ [kitten] [absent]) is a subtropical Town located in Hute Lapezo Parish, Krièvlùji̊ La Provence, within the Dalandic Empire.

The name Dugaggùmir Se is derived from the Tauric language, as Dugaggùmir Se was founded by Sérmb Sēnḱ 'Boo Entice' Ya̋nv Mbóch Cú̄s Zeshegarê Shankland, who was culturaly Tauric.

Climate

Dugaggùmir Se has a yearly average temperature of 30°C (86°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a blistering 34°C (93°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a warm 27°C (80°F). Overview

Dugaggùmir Se was founded durring the late 15th century in spring of the year 1374, by Sérmb Sēnḱ 'Boo Entice' Ya̋nv Mbóch Cú̄s Zeshegarê Shankland. The establishment of Dugaggùmir Se was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Dugaggùmir Se's construction back out of the project. Sérmb Sēnḱ 'Boo Entice' Ya̋nv Mbóch Cú̄s Zeshegarê Shankland pushed on reguardles, and Dugaggùmir Se was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.

Dugaggùmir Se was built using the conventions of Tauric durring the late 15th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Dugaggùmir Se is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Dugaggùmir Se is was constructed arround several restrictive baked earthen mainstreets which cross one another at certain axies, with smaller streets branching off of them to premit acess to the many buildings deeper into the road network. The overall fashion is remenessent of a circulatory system, or other organic construct, and is quite effishent in its design. The town is protected by a series of wooden fences ringing the town's parimiter, which are likly intended to keep varrious beasts out of town rather than protect it from attack by any intelegent agents. The town's bare minimum defences are visibly old, but also obviously well maintained. Its likly the local malishia or garrison are tasked with routine mantance of the town's defences.

Dugaggùmir Se has the unmistakable air of a town on its last legs. Everything is a bit slipshod and ramshackle. Everyone is at work, or drinking. No one has anything in their eyes other than fear and despair. Whatever industry once fueled Dugaggùmir Se ’s existence has dried up and the town is drifting down the stream of history as it dries up. Likely due to this, Dugaggùmir Se is, in a word, disorder. People seem to be allowed to do as they please with little harmoney to anything. It feels less like a town, and more like a spot people just happened to have homes. One cannot help but wonder what Dugaggùmir Se was like during the glorydays.

Cultural Notes

Dugaggùmir Se's chapel was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is characterized by dynamic designs and complex architectural plan forms; intended to heighten feelings of motion and sensuality, and frequently based on the oval. It made extensive and extreme use of: Grandeur, Contrast, Curves and twists, Rich surface treatments, Gilded statuary, Bright colors, Vividly painted ceilings, Fragmented or deliberately incomplete elements, Large-scale frescoes, Dramatic central projections on an external facade, the use of plaster, stucco, or marble finishing, Illusory effects such as trompe l’oeil, and pear-shaped domes. While beloved by the nobility, the common folk tended to despise the style due to the massive consumption of resources required for even a small building constructed in this style.

Due to the actions of local Kami, autumn is short in Dugaggùmir Se.

The Vukodlak near Dugaggùmir Se are known to be a mutant strain of the creature.

Dugaggùmir Se's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in summer and involves orgies to channel Invocation energies of tier 1 via proclamations.

A great funnel cloud itself touched down in Dugaggùmir Se, bringing twisting winds which killed 278 people, 399 livestock, and 30 buildings in the disaster.. The disaster is generally remembered as the Howling Winds of Cursed Fates.
